Died of paralysis, George Davis, 80. Born New Ipswich, Mass., October 16, 1817. Survived by three children: Charles of Loveland (CO), George M. of Longmont and Mrs. Maxwell (Mary Ann) of Boulder. Came to Longmont in 1863 (sic).

Note: George actually 1871. He came to Colorado in 1863, first to Cripple Creek, then to Central City and Black Hawk. He finally arrived in Longmont in 1871.
