  • Alva Smith, Died--Near Mead, Monday, August 20, 1923, Alva Smith, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith. Longmont Ledger, Aug 24, 1923  Page 5.

  • Kenneth Ritchey (Richey)-At the Longmont hospital, Monday, Nov 10, 1902, of intero colitis, Kenneth, infant son of Mr. and Mrs., Geo. Ritchey of Highlandlake, aged 1 year, 4 months and 10 days. This child may be buried at Highlandlake, but not verifiable at this time. Longmont Ledger, Nov 14, 1902

  • Oviatt, Died: March 15, 1895. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Oviatt, age one week. buried at Highlandlake. *
  • Albert Cyrus Oviatt *, 42. Born Collamer, Ohio, suburb of Cleveland, August 14, 1853. Came to Highlandlake from California in autumn of 1877. Came to Longmont in spring of 1879, proprietor of meat market and leading businessman. Buried at Highlandlake next to wife's grave. (Longmont Ledger, July 10, 1896. Actual date of death, not known).

  • Miss Isabella Coates, 17, in Denver, of Brights Disease. Until January, she had lived with Miss Bumstead for a year. Longmont Ledger, May 15, 1897.

  • William Henry Oviatt *. Died at his Highlandlake residence of a sudden illness, 56. Born in Cleveland, came to Colorado in 1876. Had been postmaster at Highlandlake ever since the office was established. Survived by wife; two sons, R.H. and Ewing, and two daughters, Mrs. Harry Cole and Mrs. Hart of Denver. Funeral at residence, interment at Highlandlake cemetery. Longmont Ledger, Nov. 27, 1896.
