Coates, Mary Bumstead 10 July 1863 - 24 Mar. 1898 Born in Boston, wife of F. H. Coates.
(Note: Mary was the first women minister to serve in Colorado. It was through her efforts that the Highlandlake Church building was built. She was also a returned missionary from Africa where she served 7 years until ill health forced her return to the states.)

Davis, George 16 Oct 1817 - 18 Nov 1897 "Father"
(Note; George Davis was a Congregational missionary who founded four congregational churches in Colorado. Central City, Black Hawk, Longmont and Highlandlake. He built his house on the southeast corner of Highlandlake in 1878 finishing it in 1881, and in 1896 sold it to the Highlandlake church for use as a parsonage.)

(Note: Samuel was the first church secretary of the fledgling Highlandlake Church. There is a stained glass window in the church dedicated to him)

(Note: Paul was the son of Martin Luther and Myra Jenkins Mead and a nephew of L.C. Mead. he donated part of his farm for the town of Mead, which formed 2 miles southeast of Highlandlake after the train bypassed the community of Highlandlake.)
