LaVern OlsonLaVerne R. Olson passed away Feb. 4, 2009, at 89. Verne is survived by his dear friend, Cathy Deitz, sister, Betty Wyatt (Bobby), sons, Bob & Jim (Julie) & six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry (Edie). Verne was a veteran of WW II, a past State Commander of the American Legion & Post 1, sang for the USO & was a member of the Shriner's. Verne will be dearly missed by his family & friends. Funeral services, 10am, Tues., Feb. 10th, Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth. Burial, Mountain View Cemetery in Longmont.
